The 12-week Design Foundation Course is the perfect solution for all students that would like to improve their passion for design, exploring 3 different competitive fields: Fashion Design & Manufacture, Interior Architecture & Design, Graphic Design & Media.
It is an excellent opportunity for students that do not qualify to progress onto one of our BA (Hons) validated programmes, for those that are in doubt as to which Higher Education in Design programme to choose, or equally for those who want to learn the basic fundaments of Design.

We want to congratulate them on successfully completing their 12-week design course. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, and we are confident that they have gained valuable skills that will be useful in the future.

Sofya, Razan, and Gabi were among the recent participants in our Design Foundation Course, and they have all chosen to pursue their main BA (Hons) validated programs in Graphic Design & Media, Interior Architecture & Design, and Fashion Design & Development, respectively.

We are very proud to announce that our Winter 2023 Design Foundation Course students successfully completed their 12-week course, and graduated last Friday.
As the majority of them take a well-deserved Summer break, we are excited to announce that many will be joining our next BA (Hons) validated programme in September. We can't wait to see these talented individuals continue to flourish and create amazing designs.

We take you through a visual journey of our Winter 2023 Design Foundation Course. In just 12 weeks, our talented students have honed their skills, delving into the world of design and unlocking their creative potential.
From the initial stages of learning the fundamentals to the final moments of showcasing their stunning creations, our students have embraced every challenge with determination.

12 students from 11 different nationalities, some with us at the Academy and some using the online course option, will discover the fundamentals of Design over the next 12 weeks, after which they can choose which career in design suits them most, and progress onto one of our main BA (Hons) validated programmes in design.

Spring Design Design Foundation Course 2022. 13/06/2022
Our latest Design Foundation Course concluded on Friday10 June. We celebrated the end of this course with our online and presential students in a good spirit making the most of our terrace, on one of the first days of summer with cakes and a glass of cava!

Málaga Site visit for our Fashion and Design Foundation Course. 04/11/2021
One of the advantages of Marbella Design Academy is its location close to the cultural and economic centers of Marbella and Málaga.
This week our Fashion and the Design Foundation Course students made the most of our proximity to Málaga to visit the Car and Fashion Museum and the Contemporain Artistic Center.
All of this under the November sunshine of Andalusia.

Only a week ago, our June 21 Design Foundation Course students were finishing the course and receiving their certificate of successful completion.
Today, we open our doors to our new September 2021 Design Foundation Course students!

To ensure that all students have the opportunity to access our three-year undergraduate design programmes we will be offering the very flexible opportunity of attending this Design Foundation Course, either at the Academy or without leaving the confines of the home.
The June Design Foundation Course will keep its normal programme and schedule, starting on Monday 28 June, Monday to Friday, and from 9.00 until 13.00.
Any student that chooses to attend virtually will still benefit from 100% tutor attention and guidance through an interactive live streaming system.
Students will be able to connect with our tutor in real-time and ask any questions they might have as they arise.
The choice is yours: Choose to attend the Design Foundation Course at Marbella Design Academy in house... or from home.

Fashion Design & Manufacture advanced class. 01/12/2020
Yesterday our Design Foundation Course students attended an advanced class by our Head of Fashion Design & Manufacture, Natalia Rivera Studio, and our Fashion Design tutor Eli Cuesta.
During this class, they discovered all the different skills you need to know to become a Fashion Designer.
An advantage of our Design Foundation Course is that not only are the students introduced to several Design disciplines during their 12 weeks at the Academy, but they also receive an advanced class with each of our department heads!
What better way to find out where one's passion lies, and which one of these disciplines could become one's profession.
And remember: Our next Design Foundation Course starting in March 2021 is also available online!

Today, our Design Foundation Course students are having an advanced class by our head of Interior Architecture & Design, Caterina Sposato, an expert in advanced technologies and doctor in Environmental Strategies.
